New community icon

Thanks to my good friend solipsistnation and his Photoshop skills we have a new TiVo dude community icon – taken from one of those provided in the TiVo press kit on their website.

More community updates

Based on comments to my last post, and some more thought, I’ve added a number of links to the community info page. Including three new categories – TiVo Pages of Interest (especially notable pages on the TiVo website), 3rd Party Software (software that works with HMO, hacking software, etc.), and TiVo Related Books.

As always, if you know of anything that should be there that is missing please comment.

Allow myself to introduce… myself.

Hello, I’ve been a community member for a while and a TiVo fanatic for a few years now. But today I have something new to be happy about – community founder trinityinfinity has allowed me to join her as co-maintainer of this community.

I just finished doing some updates to the community. We have a new layout which I hope people will like. (I took the colors from TiVo’s official style guide.) I’ve also updated the community information page with many more links to TiVo resources – websites, forums, vendors, newsgroups, etc.

And to help the community grow and attract more members I’ve updated the community’s interests with many more keywords.

I’d love to hear from community members if you know of any resources I failed to list or if anyone can think of any additional interest keywords that would be good for the community. Or if you have any comments, criticisms, or suggestions for the community.

I’m happy to be able to contribute to the community in this way. Thank you trinityinfinity and thanks to all of the community members.
