Email from the ‘My TiVo Gets Me’ site

I signed up for the My TiVo Gets Me site when it first went live, and today I received an email from the site, which is below. It seems a little odd to me, since the site felt more targeted to existing owners, but the email is promising future updates on TiVo features such as WishList and Season Pass, which are pretty basic TiVo features.

TiVo Rewards Series3 cost drops to 75,000 points

This is something I meant to share last week.Dave Zatz reported that the TiVo Rewards cost for the Series3 has dropped from 85,000 points to 75,000, bringing it two referrals closer.

In other news, they’re also now offering the Slingbox AV for 25,000 points. Next to TiVo, my Slingbox Pro is probably my favorite gadget. Well, it is a hard call between the Slingbox and my Treo, I really do use the Treo quite a bit more than the Slingbox (or TiVo for that matter).

Oops – comment problem fixed

Thanks to Alex of TiVo Blog for letting me know comments were broken. That was my fault. As I learn the ropes of WordPress sometimes I stub my toe – this time I made an error while editing the comment form which resulted in nested HTML forms, which isn’t a good thing. Of course, I didn’t noticed because it only hits user who aren’t logged in – and I’m almost always logged in. I apologize if you tried to make a comment and were blocked.

TiVo to Report First Quarter Fiscal 2008 Financial Results

TiVo Inc. (Nasdaq: TIVO) announced today that it will release financial results for the first quarter ended April 30, 2007 after market close on Wednesday, May 30, 2007.

TiVo will also host a conference call and Webcast to discuss the first quarter financial and operating results and guidance outlook at 2:00 pm PT (5:00 pm ET) on the same day.
