TiVo Sells Another Stop||Watch(TM) Ratings Service Subscription

TiVo Inc. (Nasdaq: TIVO), the creator and a leader in advertising solutions and television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), today announced that it has sold another subscription to its Stop||Watch(TM) ratings service. Media Performance Monitor America (MPMA), a leading media performance monitoring firm, will use the Stop||Watch ratings service to further enhance its monitoring capacities with the aim of maximizing advertising investment returns for its clients.

Nice to see Stop||Watch continuing to gain traction.

Get a Slingbox Pro and HD Connect for $180!

Gizmodo just posted a deal on the Slingbox Pro and HD Connect. In what looks like a special offer tied to the recent NHL announcement, Sling Media is selling the Slingbox Pro and HD Connect for USD$179.99 or CAD$199.99. That combo is normally a USD$299.98 MSRP – so you’re saving about $120!

I have a Slingbox Pro connected to my TiVo Series3, and it is fantastic. I think it is one of the best additions to my A/V system, and I’m looking forward to the SlingCatcher later this year. If you’re one of the people who just picked up a Series3 with the recent rebate, this is a good next purchase.

Get a Series3 for $500 or an S2DT for $50

So the $200 Series3 rebate and Father’s Day Specials are gone, and you missed them. Now the Series3 is back up to ~$600.

Well, TiVo has a couple of Web Specials. They’re selling ‘factory-renewed’ (aka, refurbished) 80-hour Series2 Dual Tuner units for $49.99, and factory-renewed Series3 units for $499.99. Both deals require a one-year service commitment. As always, TiVo Rewards Referrals are appreciated.
