TiVo Blog has done a short interview with Leon about HME – and the future of JavaHMO, or, as it will be named, Galleon.

TiVo President Marty Yudkovitz announced Tuesday that he has resigned from his job with the digital video recorder maker.

I wouldn’t jump to conclusions – this could be bad – rats leaving the ship, or it could be a change of leadership to improve TiVo’s position. Perhaps the board has decided the company needs to change direction to improve performance, in such cases a shakeup in management is common.

The folks over at PVRBlog have started a repository for developers to list their HME applications for others to rate them, and, of course, to make them easier for people to find.
