Barron’s sees TiVo as takeover candidate

Fresh off of its court victory over satellite operator EchoStar Communications, TiVo could be a takeover candidate, according to the latest edition of Barron’s.

Yet another ‘TiVo is a takeover candidate’ prediction and article. Not much new in this one really, same old song.

Galleon 2.3.0 released

Galleon 2.3.0 can now be downloaded. Read the release notes.

This is a bug fix release which includes the following:

* Native version for Windows.
* Resync ToGo video files if moved.
* Fixed ToGo stats doubling.
* Fixed GoBack subfolders.
* Fixed ToGo sorting by TiVo name in GUI.
* Fixed Movies posters.
* Fixed Upcoming dates.

Galleon 2.3.0 is only recommended for TiVo’s with at least version 7.2.1 software.
