That’s what seems to be the case here, as reseller Crawford’s Superstore also has an Amazon Storefront. And it is through that storefront that the TiVo Premiere Elite has appeared on Amazon for the $499.99 MSRP. Shipping is free, and it looks like they currently only have twelve in stock.

The product listing is fairly sparse and incomplete, and it lacks the educational points and disclaimers that TiVo wanted resellers to included. Such as a statement that the Elite works only with digital cable and FiOS. TiVo might want to get on Crawford and/or Amazon to get the listing updated. It isn’t their fault, but they did stipulate that they would include such educational materials at points of sale in their waiver application to the FCC.
