It is worth noting that the prime time anytime feature can be easily disabled. And the 250 hrs is not total record time. It what is allotted for h.d. recordings.

I could not agree more. More tuners means more control over recordings. The MUX will be a nice feature for the avid “American Idol” fans. But it is also only available in areas that offer H.D. locals which isn’t true in all areas. Plus sling compatibility would have taken this unit to the next level.

Yeah, interesting trick. I was wondering how this would work out in practice though. You know, you’re looking through the “My Shows” listing and instead of just the shows you asked to be recorded, there are all these other shows too and you have to wade through all of them. Four networks, seven nights, for three hours. Perhaps 4 x 7 x 4? So some 112 shows you never scheduled to record, that are intermixed with the shows you told it to record, and you have to scroll through to find the show you want? Or do they segregate the “Prime Time” shows into a different list? Even then… Would be interesting to see an actual review of this thing in action.
