We compared SlingPlayer for Connected Devices to both the Slingcatcher and the SlingPlayer for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and in two words – IT SUCKS. http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=131591831 The Flash based SlingPlayer for Connected Devices app seems more like an Alpha or early beta release than something really useful. This is probably the reason it is still free (at least on the Revue Google TV device)
