TiVo you bastards. I convinced the old lady to let me buy a TiVo HD in February. There is no way I'm getting this. Thanks for nothing. ;)

I know for sure it does NOT have any internal two-way communication, I talked to TiVo about it. Functionally it is a TiVo HD with a larger drive. Any hardware changes will be minor chip revisions.

Glad to hear that TiVo is adding a high end device. 20 hrs of HD recording capacity is too small even now. And as more HD content is available, the 20hrs is getting even smaller.

I will be looking forward to learning if the HD XL has some additional electronics on board -- maybe to internalize a tru2way connection.
