I posted this morning about LG Electronics signing the cable MOU on tru2way. Well, it looks like Funai Electric has also signed it. You may not be familiar with the Funai name, but Funai markets their products under the Philips, Magnavox, Sylvania, and Emerson brand names and also provides ’store brand’ units such as Insignia for Best Buy and Pye for Circuit City.
Picked up from TWICE.

Mega,
Assume you saw the stories about Verizon saying tru2way is a cable-only standard because it assumes an RF-return path, etc in their letter to the FCC…

I’ve seen bits but I’ve been both sick (mostly better now, coughing mostly at this point) and very busy at work so I haven’t had much time to research things. So I haven’t read their actual letter to the FCC to see what they’re on about.
