What I mean is, if the PS3 joins the downloadable-TV field along with Unbox, iTunes, and whoever else might be doing it, is not the next logical step trying to create distinctiveness by jockeying for exclusives? If so, downloadable TV becomes a replay of the console gaming situation. Instead of "Hmm, I'd like to play $GAME(PS3_EXCLUSIVE) and $GAME(XB360_EXCLUSIVE), but the heck I can afford both boxes," it becomes, "Hmm, I'd like to watch $SHOW(AVAIL_UNBOX) and $SHOW(AVAIL_PS3), but the heck I can afford both boxes." That... doesn't seem like any kind of a win to me.
