When doing a deal like the Tivo-HD deal, is there a way to get your multi box household discount? I have 2 tivos already (one lifetime, one monthly at 6.95 per month). How do deals like this work into that system?

I should clarify, I know that the offer doesn’t mix with the multi service discount, but my question is, Will it after the 1 year is up?

My understanding is that once the initial commitment is over you will continue to be billed at the then-standard rate. But you can call and sign up for a new commitment on the box, and if you do that you can switch it to MSD at that time. So yes, you can get MSD once the one-year is up – but you won’t get it automatically, you need to call and put the box under contract.
