TiVo Reveals More Australian Details

It looks like The Sydney Morning Herald has someone at CES, and they got some time with Joshua Danovitz, TiVo’s international general manager. They managed to get some more specifics on the TiVo service that will launch down under in 2008:

Not only will Australians be able to record all free-to-air television channels using TiVo, they will also have access to a movie download store and about 100 free internet video channels, Joshua Danovitz, TiVo’s international general manager, said at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Danovitz also said that all of the TiVo features available to US users would be made available to Australian users, but it will be up to partner Seven Network to decide the timing.
