Please ask if the server registration of Desktop and xmpp communications will also be used to eliminate the need for bonjour IP and service discovery between desktop and the TiVos. The most common installation problem people have with TiVo desktop is Bonjour being blocked by PC security software. This infrastructure could eliminate that and make setup a much more freindly process for people running a lot of security software and/or VPNs on their PC.
