A lot of people have upgraded drives with 9.1 without any trouble. If it is a conflict, it is usually an upgraded that was done incorrectly - not enlarging the swap partition as required is the most common error. If this was a pre-imaged drive purchased from WeaKnees.com or DVRupgrade.com, they have some warranties and will generally correct the problem if you contact them.If this was a home-brewed upgrade, then I'm afraid you're going to have to pull the drive and re-image it. If you don't have a back-up drive image, you'll need to acquire one - buying an Instant Cake CD from DVRupgrade.com is the easiest way to handle this. With the side-benefit that their software will properly install and enlarge the image. If you do it from scratch again, make sure to do it properly or you'll risk the same problem when the unit re-upgrades.

There is nothing inherently incompatible with the update and upgraded drives. Does anyone know what I need to do to upgrade the hard drive?
Thanks.

I received the new software last night, but now my Tivo doesn’t work because I have an upgraded hard drive. Does anyone know what I need to do to upgrade the hard drive?<br

Very disappointing.

I just got of the phone with tech support…it’s now official that channel ’0′ will no longer be tied to the A/V Input RCA plugs (as of v9.1). Progress bars, buttons, everything has a Web 2.0 look. Really classy and makes those elements look great. The one thing they didn't update is the network logos... they're the same old ones, but the jaggy edges are all the more apparent now that everything has a high-gloss look.

9.1 gives a spiffy new UI for my Series2.
