With CV apparently already offering an HD DVR from MOT, and the history of TiVo uptake, I don't see much here. TiVo likely will take much smaller revenues from these boxes and the warehouse could use some place to send those S2DTs. If TiVo really felt there would be significant numbers from this deal they wouldn't have cancelled all those orders and taken the $11.2M writedown. it looks like this boils down to the box costing
a bit less than the $99 US, and basically the same
