Sure, the eSATA port on the Series3 isn’t officially activated yet, but if you like living on the edge you can use the ‘Kickstart 62‘ back door to use it. It’ll also work with the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 series DVRs, if you have one of those with an active eSATA port.
