Well, that didn’t last long

Just this Tuesday I posted about the CEA working on standardizing 1080p component video. Well, the CEA has already rejected the proposal. The television and movie content owners shot it down – no big surprise. However, it looks like CE vendors will probably continue to add 1080p component to their devices – standard or no standard.
