Google acquires FeedBurner

Well, the acquisitions continue as Google acquires FeedBurner. I wonder if they’ll integrate it with Google Reader?

I’ve been thinking about using FeedBurner for this blog’s feeds, but I’m undecided. I’ve never used FeedBurner myself, so I don’t know how people feel about it in general. Opinions?

    1. Google had already acquired the color orange when they bought…

At worst, the typical reader will not know you’re using FeedBurner. At best, you’ll be able to optimize and advertise your feed. I’ve been playing with it on and off the last few weeks.

Yeah, I need to explore it some more to really understand what it offers. It is actually more interesting to me now since I use Google AdSense and Google Analytics and I expect they to tie it all together - Google has said as much.

I know Alex uses FeedBurner at TiVoBlog.com, maybe he’ll chime in. :-)

I really enjoy using feedburner. You might want to consider using a wp plugin called feedsmith (http://blogs.feedburner.com/feedburner/archives/2007/05/feedburner_adopts_twoyearold_r.php).

    Thanks, I’ll check it out.
