I signed up for the priority for one of my boxes, but to my surprise, both boxes have the Swivel Search under the Find Programs menu.

Now that I think about it, if the service is available from the server side, versus a System Update, will that mean new TiVo services will roll out as fast as they announce them, provided it’s a server-side upgrade?

They still tend to phase them in – they’ll want to make sure the server is going to take the load, there aren’t any major bugs, etc. Some things you just can’t effectively simulate in testing.
