How to run TiVo Desktop 2.4 on Windows Vista

TiVo recently release TiVo Desktop 2.4, but without support for Windows Vista. Well, a reader of PVRBlog by the name of Shane sent in instructions on how to get it working under Vista, and you can read them here.
