I don’t know why the guy missed two things: one, you can opt out of the data collection (though I’d prefer they’d make more services online — why do I have to call to transfer lifetime and to opt out? It’s potentially problematic since I’m hearing impaired!) and; http://www.tivo.com/linux DOES have all of the source they’re obligated to publish.

He missed the first one - I left a comment with that. But he didn’t miss the second, he said you can download all the GPL source from their website. Many times in his replies to comments too.
