An Easter Egg on TiVo’s website

Over at TiVoCommunity.com, user stevedavios posted about an odd video he found on TiVo’s website: http://www.tivo.com/bluemoon

Remember, TiVo first shipped on a Blue Moon, and there is now an annual corporate holiday called Blue Moon to commemorate that. This looks like an internal video. Something fun for new employees perhaps? Viral marketing effort? Who knows? ;-)

That is absolutely hilarious. I think it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. How in the world did Steve ever find something like that. Maybe they can introduce the video as patent evidence to prove they were the first ones to invent time shifting

    Hmmm. Doesn’t the S3 play MPEG-4?

    Very funny video.

Has anyone transcribed the lines of weird characters that appear in some of the TiVo menus to try to decode them?

    The hardware can, anyway.
